So, I decided to be crafty today. Here is a photo of the packaging I did for one. I told her they took forever, so she just wanted this one packaged. haha

I've also been working on a mini book that I got the inspiration from Elise @ enJOY it. I had the most incredible time teaching, making new friends, living in dorms (believe me I did not get the college dorm experience until I lived on a military base for three months), and getting to see Europe with amazing people!! I took over 1,000 pictures, but only printed off a little over 200. So, I decided to go ahead and start my scrapbook now that I have a Cricut. It was definitely a surprise when I opened it Christmas morning. I've really enjoyed playing with it and getting the motivation to be creative, which I had for some reason lost. But, now with new toys...I'm cooking!!! haha So, here are the first few pages of my Europe album!

Living in the Nowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16691748469775236298noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-456698341627842025.post-28597047979495847062010-01-14T14:31:00.000-08:002010-01-14T14:38:43.660-08:00Post-It Note CoversSo, I've been sick since yesterday...mostly because I live in Oklahoma and have horrible allergies. Living in this state does a number on me! haha But, while I was home sick from work yesterday evening I came across this tutorial at Paper Arts. It looked like something I could do in my miserable state. So, I kinda went crazy and made 7! Three have post-it notes in them, because that was all I had just laying around. Tomorrow while I'm off work as well as my mother, we will be going to get more. haha And I'm really close to getting a Cuddlebug as well. With my 50% off coupon from Michael's it might be worth it.

The paper I used were scraps that I keep from everything I make!!! I love this idea Carole is amazing!!!!

Living in the Nowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16691748469775236298noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-456698341627842025.post-50726410331511001732009-12-31T12:52:00.000-08:002009-12-31T12:55:06.357-08:00Breast Cancer Picture FrameI created this with the Pink Journey Campagne Rose Cart for a woman my mom works with.

My name is Caroline. I'm 23 and a recent college graduate. I've been scrapbooking since I was 14. Not only do I scrapbook, but I also make cards and alter things. I just love the freedom to create whatever I want. For Christmas this year my parents got me a Cricut Expression. So far I've made three things. A "Carpe Diem" sign for my dad's office, a Thank You card, and an altered composition book. I only have picture of the card and composition book.

My next project is going to be BIG, and when I say BIG I mean B-I-G!!!! I lived in England for 3 months and did a lot of traveling. So, as soon as I got my cricut, I decided I would go ahead and make a scrapbook and those 3 months. So, I ordered 214 pictures off my Kodak gallery which should arrive in the mail hopefully by next week and I can get started. I've already got the scrapbook and the paper I want to use and anything else I need, I can go get when I figure out what it is. So, wish me luck, I will be posting my progress here!!
Living in the Nowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16691748469775236298noreply@blogger.com0
